Efficiency of six imported and one indigeneous rock phosphate as sources of phosphate for rice crop in acid laterite soil was tested in Kharif and summer seasons. North Carolina rock phosphate and Udaipur rock phosphate were founhd effective next to superphosphates. Superphosphate showed better residual effect than all forms of rockphosphates on second crop. Howewer, all the rock phosphates gave higher yield of second crop than no phosphate control. |
