Blends containing 20% in volume of polyaniline and natural rubber fabricated by cast in the form of free-standing films and treated either with HC1 or with corona discharge to investigate the doping process. The characterization was carried out by Raman spectroscopy, dc conductivity and thermogravimetry analysis (TGA). evidences of chemical interaction between PANI and NR are observed and indicate that the NR itself induces both a primary doping of PANI, which can be still enhanced either by HC1 or by corona discharge, and an effect similar to a secondary doping. |
