Resumo: Os autores estudaram as alterações nos índices sanguíneos de uréia, glicose, creatinina e colesterol em ovinos durante a forma larvária de infestação por Haemonchus contortus e observaram que apenas a uremia sofreu alteração aumentando sucessivamente ao longo do desenvolvimento do processo de infestação. Também verificaram o efeito ocasionado nas mesmas taxas, três dias depois do tratarnento anti-helmíntico, notando apenas alterações na uremia. Abstract: The authors studied the alterations on the sanguineous levels of urea, glycose, creatinine and cholesterol in sheep during the larval form of the infestation by Haemonchus contortus, and they observed that only the uremia increased sucessively during the development of the infestation process. They also verified the same effect, occuring at the same levels, after three days of the anti-helmintic treatment observing only alteration in the uremia. |
