Sustainable soil fertility management is a major constraint in the humid tropics. In order to gather more information about the creation of TP we addressed the following objectives: (i) to observe and describe indigenous soil fertility management; (ii) to analyze managed and unmanaged soil and compare soil chemical and microbiological parameters with those of prehistoric TP (TPp); and, (iii) to discuss the formation of TP under indigenous soil fertility management. |
