The object of this handbook is to bring together under one cover those statistical methods which are most likely to be of use in the Chemical Industry. These methods are all available in the literature, but no one book has yet been found that gives an adequate desctiption of them all: furthermore, the applications described are usually very diferent from those met with in chemical research and manufacture. It is thought, therefore, that an account of these methods, written from the point of view of the Chemical Industry, would be of considerable use to people engaged in Research and Process work. |
