In order to propagate desirable genotypes, the method of egg transfer was applied to goats. The conception rate of 16-morula stages ova transfered to uterus was better than that of 2-8 cell stages ova transfered to Fallopian tubes, but there was to statistical differences. When nineteen fertilized eggs were transferred to the oviducts and uterus of ten synchronized goats, the conception rate was 60%, and the kidding rate was 31.6%. |
