Abstract: The influence of age on heat tolerance in sheep was investigated in two hotroom studies. The rectal temperature and respiratory rate response of 16-month old Dorset Horn x Merino and of 18-month old Merino ewes did not differ significantly from that of their respective mature (4.5 to 6 year old) counterparts. |
