A functioning udder is described in a 7-year-old Nubian male goat. Thedefect was not observed in any of his several off-springs. His semen had few dead sperms and his serum testosterone level was low. The udderwas removed surgically. Histologically, the udder showed dense connective tissue lobules composed of acinar or tubulo-acinar structures and the teat orifice had no muscle sphincter. |
