Several sweet sorghum cu1tivars were eva1uated for ethy1 a1coho1 production in 10cations ranging from 3 graus 12'S and 31 graus 52'S latitude in Brazi1. Parameters eva1uated were fresh weight production, striped sta1k production, grain production, p1ant height, days to f10wer, Brix and total reducing sugars. Photosensitivity was the principal contributing factor to the interactions observed. The cu1tivars, deve10ped for Southern U.S. conditions, were most productive and adapted in Southern Brazi1 and 1east productive in Northern Brazi1. |
