The utilization of four carbon sources by F. oxysporum f. lycopersici, C. scoparium and S. cepivorum was studied. Glucose, galactose, starch and maltose were the carbon sources used. Mycelial growth diamenter and dry weight were measured. Fusarium, Clylindrocladium and Sclerotium had the greaest dry weight when grown in the presence of starch. No correlation was observed between the measurements utilized. |
