The effect of Azospirillum brasilense and silicon on maize on the biology and behavior of Spodoptera frugiperda, the resistance induction, and the silicon quantification in the leaves were studied. The inoculation of corn seeds was carried out before planting, and the silicon applications (soil and foliar) were performed 16 and 26 days after planting. The bioassay of food preference and survival of 2nd instar larvae was carried out on days 2 and 4 after the applications. |
