Organic wastes require appropriate forms of disposal, and advancing the search for sustainability of nutrient sources in agriculture is primal. This work’s main objective was to assess biochars’ influence as components of compost piles of urban and rural organic wastes. The research was conducted at Embrapa Agrossilvipastoril, Sinop/MT unit, where the biochars were produced and combined with the residues to process using the composting method. All biochars presented a potential neutralization effect on the compost piles due to increased pH values. |
