The preparation of Baculovirus anticarsia dispersions as well as three alternative procedures to obtain a dry preparation of this biological control agent have been investigated. A stable dispersion containing well defined hydrophilic polyhedral particles of 1.6 um in diameter, presenting a surface area of 2.9 m2g-1 and an isoelectric point between pH 3 and 4 was finally obtained. |
