The following drugs were used in intrauterine therapy of 123 Karan Swiss, 91 Karan Friesian, 7 Sahiwal cows and 23 Murrah buffaloes with postpartum endometritis: Metrijet (Intervet, Holland; 17 animals), Terramycin liquid (Pfizer; 53), Betadine (Wockhardt, 22), Vetran-LA (Vets-pharma; 81) and Furea (SK & F; 7). The drugs took a mean of 16, 18, 20, 18 and 19 days respectively to achieve a clinical cure. |
