This chapter presents the results of a research with corn production in intercropping with the fodder plant U. brizantha, in three integrated production systems and in monoculture system. The experiment was performed in the municipality of Votuporanga, São Paulo State, Brazil, with a casual experimental design, four treatments (production systems) and four repetitions, being the integrated systems composed by two agroforestry systems and onde agropastoral system, and one system composed by corn monoculture. All production system were cultivated in no-tillage systems. At the moment of the corn harvest, the agronomic characteristics, the yield of corn straw dry matter and fodder, the content of straw macronutrient corn and the fodder grain were evaluated. |
