The trial was conducted on a nematode-infested soil with a tillage pan (25-35 cm), using conventional (20 cm) and deep (38 cm) tillage. With conventional tillage, the large-rooted form of Festuca arundinacea studied was superior to the small-rooted form in root penetration, forage yield, persistence and sward cover. |
