189 oestrous cycles were studied in 78 during Aug.-Dec. In the 5 months resp., cycle length averaged 14.24, 17.47, 21.62, 12.63 and 16.00 days (P<0.01). For nulliparous, primiparous and multiparous cycle length averaged 16.54, 16.81 and 16.04 days resp. For mating, the were allotted to 4 groups, in 3 of which the were mated once (between 5 and 10, 10 and 12, or 24 and 26 h of oestrus resp.), and in the 4th the were mated twice (between 10-12 and 24-26 h). |
