Abstract : 233 observations on the occurrence of oestrus were made on 40 female goats during 1976-78. The overall incidence of oestrus was: Jan.-May, 0%; June, 51.2%; July, 3.13%; Aug., 4.94%; Sep., 10.76%; Oct., 21.08%; Nov., 6.72%; Dec., 2.24%. Differences between months, but not between years, were significant. |
