Pre-weaning and post-weaning body weights between pure-bred Nali and Corriedale .times. Nali half-bred lambs were compared. Cross-bred lambs were heavier than pure-bred Nali lambs at all ages. Influences of body coat color, sex of lamb and initial body weight were also studied on different weights up to 24 wk of age. Lambs heavier at birth were heavier at weaning and marketing age. |
