Wool was sampled at the Sep.-Oct. clip (6-mth wool growth) from 20 Polwarth X Rampur Bushahr crossbreds and from 20 Choklas. Samples taken from 1 cm2 on the neck, withers, shoulder, midside, back and britch, and a composite sample representing the whole fleece, were analysed. Correlations between characters of the composite sample and those of the regional sample are tabulated, pooled across breeds. |
