Semen was collected from adult bucks of six breeds of Indian goats (Jamunapari, Barbari, Jakhrana, Marx Varia, Kutchi, Sirohi) at weekly interval throughout the year. Least squares analysis of variance revealed significant effects (P<0.01) of genetic group and age on semen volume, mass motility, sperm concentration and dead spermatozoa. Season was found to affect only the present of dead and abnormal spermatozoa. |
