The objective of this work woas to collect and characterize isolates obtained form fresh market tomato fields through rep-PCR fingerprinting, PCR with species-specific primers, pathogenicity on susceptible hosts, and race determination. This was the first attempt to evaluate the distribution of these species associated with bacterial spot in different regions of Brazil where fresh market tomato crops are grown. |
