Digestibility of DM of species of browse collected in the Northern Territory was estimated in vitro by the method of Tilley and Terry (NAR 34, 156) as modified by Minson and McLeod (NAR 42, 9522) and Newman (NAR 43, 6253). Trials were done at 2 research stations and digestibility in vivo was estimated with sheep. Values in vitro and in vivo were closely related and there was no difference between laboratories. |
