Studies were made on number and size of uterine cotyledons in 21 sheep at 30, 40, 70, 100, 115, 130 and 145 days (term) of pregnancy. The average number of cotyledons was 39,9 mais ou menos 0,89 in the pregnant horn, 35,76 mais ou menos 1,1 in non pregnant horn and 74,85 mais ou menos 1,8 for both horns. In 17 ewes the number of cotyledons in the gravid horn was in excess of the number present in the non-gravid horn. In the remaining four ewes the number of cotyledons in the non pregnant horn exceeded the number in the pregnant horn. |
