It is a common practice in this country to allow the kid to suck milk from its mother. Thus the kid gets a fresh supply of milk at the right temeprature without any danger of contamination. This natural process saves a lot of time and trouble for the owner and costs him nothing. But the disadvantages are that goat is giving per day or during one lactation and there is also no way of finding out the quantity of milk the kid has taken. |
