Pinus patula is a pine species that is rarely cultivated in Brazil, despite its rapid growth and adaptability to different environmental conditions. The study concludes that the selected trees exhibit significant phenotypic variation in growth and wood quality traits, and therefore may serve as part of the base population for the species’ genetic improvement program. |
