The effect of day and night temperature on the development of different species of soybean from different latitudes and altitudes in China was analyzed in this paper. The result showed that the sensitivity of wild soybean to day and night temperature was more than that of semi-wild ones, and that of wild soybean was more than that of cultivated ones. Days from emergence to flowering of the high-latitudinal materials, comparing with low-latitudinal ones, were sensitive to high day temperature, insensitive to low night temperature and bigger difference of day/night temperature. |
