Abstract: The investigation was underlaken to study the economics of mixed forming on marginal, small, medium and large size farms of a backward area of gujarat state. Farms were grouped into different sizes depeding on land holding. It was observed that the returns from crop and dairy enterprises, increases in farm size. If was also found that crop enterprise was the main source of income on all groups and contributed more than half of the gross income. Table 1.
