The Blue Star Sting?s module Multiples Structures Selected Parameter (MSSP) is software developed in Java and Perl programming languages. It allows comparing, in a graphical manner, a selected parameter out of a total of 150 parameters in a different protein structures previously aligned in a simple intuitive plot. From a local database containing more than 60,000 proteins structures users can choose a single protein structure or a set of them. First, the structures are aligned using a specific algorithm and than MSSP does a XY plot, where X represents the residues position and Y the selected parameter values for selected aligned structures. The structural alignment is obtained with the Matching Molecular Models Obtained from Theory (MAMMOTH) software using the version able to align multiples structures called MAMMOTH-mult. Observing the alignments in MSSP plot for a selected parameter is possible see how good an alignment is by observation of the incidence of peaks and valleys in the graphic, and so an insertion of gaps can improve the alignment to optimist incidences of this peaks and valleys. Of course a statistical computation is needed to optimize insertion of gaps and an analysis of a set of parameters is also needed. However with a good alignment algorithm and MSSP it is possible to create a more efficient algorithm to make optimized structural alignments. |

Avaliou-se a disponibilidade de forragem, a composição botânica e o valor nutritivo de pastagens consorciadas de Brachiaria decumbens e Stylosanthes guianensis cv. Mineirão e de B. brizantha cv. Marandu e S. guianensis cv. Mineirão, sob três taxas de lotação, 0,8, 1,2 e l,6 UA/ha, durante as épocas seca e das águas, no cerrado. As pastagens com B. decumbens apresetaram maior disponibilidade de máteria verde seca e maiores proporções de leguminosa (28,7%), quando comparadas às pastagens com B. brizantha (11,9%), o que refletiu no melhor valor nutritivo das pastagens com B. decumbens. |
