The objetive of the present work was to study the reproductive behaviour of several breeds and their crosses in autumn and spring seasons under semi-arid climate with a view to assess the influence of seasons on the occurrence of oestrus and fertility in a crossbreeding programme. Since the breeding was done through artificial insemination, the results of lambing would also indicate the extent of success obtained through this technique over a period of three years. |
