CASE technology appears as a branch of software engineering responsible for partial automation of the activities of the software development process, like conceptual modeling. Tools which approach this technology satisfy several stages of development, highlighting the software conceptual phase, where it is needed a strong interaction with users. For this, there are several models to express ideas related to the system, and in general, they are represented by diagrams and graphs. Each organization use particular model according to its own criteria. Taking this approach into consideration, the goal of this work is to develop a tool (MMTool) which own requirements not seen in traditional tools like the support offered to different models, the mapping between models and the use of multimedia resources to aid the conceptual modeling. |
