The different performance indexes are intimately linked among themselves and they should be considered together to give evidence of their inter-relationship. To study this subject, a sensibility analysis considering the productive performance was made. The reference situation (age at first kidding of 17.4 monthey, kidding interval of 12.9 months, and milk yield of 494 liters of milk) was a production of 1 675 liters of milk, 5.22 kids, and a gross revenue of R$2 428.95 during the goats life. In the ideal situation (age at first kidding of 365 days, kidding interval of 365 days and milk yield of 633 kg) the goats would produce more 863 liters of milk (51.7%), 0.9 kids per goat (18.5%) and R$1 003,05(41.3%) more than reference situation. For these simulations, the impact of the variation of the performance indexes of the animals on the productive and economical results became evident since the performance indexes are nearly linked. |
