This is the second paper dealing with variation in the characteristics of individual Valencia oranges produced by a single tree. The first paper (1) presented data on the soluble solids content of the juice as related to location of the fruit on the tree. The present paper gives for the same fruit the percentage of total titratable acid (expressed as citric acid) and also the ratio of per cent of soluble solids to per cent of acid in the juice. |
