The age at 1st estrus, age at 1st kidding, interval between parturition to next estrus, interval between 2 successive kiddings and the age at 2nd kidding of Black Bengal goats maintained by farmers in rural areas of Bangladesh were recorded. These were 10.26+- 1.78, 15.27 +-. 1.76, 2.04 .+-. 0.94, 7.46 .+-. 1.23 and 22.40 .+-. 2.50 mo., respectively. The analyses of 134 kiddings and the biometry of some parts of the female genital tract of this animal were presented. |
