Anthelmintic efficacy of Melia azedarach Linn (seeds) was tested on different dosage levels ranging from 10 mg/kg to 1 g/kg body weight but no anthelmintic effect was observed as no reduction in eggs per gram (EPG) level was observed in all the animals after 7th and 15th days post-medication. Seeds of M.azedarach were also tested at the dose rate of 10, 20, 30 and 40 mg/kg body weight but no anthelmintic efficacy was observed after 7th and 15 days post-medication. |
