The aim of this work was to compare the estrous activity of crossbred Saanen x SRD adult does raised in Northeastern of Brazil. For this, 15 % cross- bred Saanen x SRD goats were alocated in three nutritional groups: high (H), low (L) and low + high (LH). The body weight (BW), number of estrous cycles, as well as the length, were recorded. Although the means of BW in L and LH groups was statistically similar, the greater mass 1055 was recorded in L group (22.82% of initial BW). Means of BW, indicated a significant effect of nutritional treatment on in vivo performance groups (P < 0.05). Nutritional deficiency show to increase a percentage of abnormal cycles in L and LH groups. Length cycle was statistically similar (P > 0.05), while estrus length in HL group was lower than H and L group. In conclusion, the goats submitted to undermutrition showed insufficient in vivo performance as we// as abnormalities in the estrous behavior. |
