Studies conducted on mineral composition of inflorescence and fruits in mango at different stages of their growth revealed decrease in the content of all inorganic nutrients, except Ca, in the inflorescence by post bloom stage. The percentage of ash and inorganic nutrients desreased in fruits also continuously from pea to full grown stage of fruit growth. the highest level of nitrogen followed by K, Ca, Mg and P was observed in fruits upto half grown stage, whereas in full-grown fruits K concentration was more, followed by N, Ca, Mg and P, respectively. |

The US Food and Drug Administration?s (FDA) Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is responsible for regulations relating to the safety of feed intended for animals (including but not limited to horses, cattle, swine, poultry, and fish), under the Animal Feed Safety System (AFSS). The regulations control many aspects of the production, storage, and labeling of animal feed, and the permitted levels of additives and contaminants, such as potentially toxic heavy metals. |
