This paper presents the application of a test generation method to the testing of the SSCOP protocol for ATM networks. Test sequences have been generated automatically in an optimized and non optimized way from the SDL specification of the protocol. To illustrate the advantages of the presented method we have translated a test sequence generated using the method into the MSC formalism to show that tests obtained in an automatic way have the same form that tests obtained manually, as is the case for one of the tests scripts proposed by the standard. |
