It started with 2% in 2008. aiming to reach 5% in 2013. Howcver, rhis goal was rcached in 2010 and kepl until 2014, when ir rose to 7%. This reprcserns a moruhly dernand 01'360 million liters.Considcring rhe currenr irnportance and lhe growrl: pcrspcciive 01' the secror, this work aims to assess the Land Use Change (LUC) influcnce on thc Life Cycle Asscssment (LCA) 01' biodicsel produced frorn soybean oil. Following a regional approach, thc LCA covers a largc arca at a tradirional soybeans farming region olthe Brazilian Midwest. |
