The gene transfer method most widely used for the genetic engineering of dicotyledomous plants is Agrobacterium co cultivativation, but a significant number compatibility with Agrobacterium or have in vitro regeneration pathways in which no wound response is involved, so that regenerable cells re rarely transformed [1, 2]. This constraint has led to the use of direct gene transfer techniques such as particle bombardment and protoplast transformation. |
