A new of Natsudaidai was selected and studied for morphological characteristics and fruit quality, In sprouting date, tree vigour and yield, the new strain "Jeju N.I" was the same as "Natsudaidai". Maturity of Jeju N.I was earlier than Natsudaidai by 140 days. Owing to high soluble solids and low acidity, fruit quality of the strain was better than Natsudaidai. Shelf life was very good due to changes in soluble solids and acid content during the storage period. |
