As abelhas do gênero Centris são consideradas boas polinizadoras para a aceroleira (Malpighia emarginata DC), sendo assim, são importantes para a reprodução desta frutífera. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a porcenta-gem de ocupação de ninhos-armadilha e a diversidade de espécies de abelhas em pomares comerciais de aceroleira. Os ninhos foram confeccionados em blocos de madeira com comprimentos de 6, 10, 14, 18 e 22 cm e com diâmetros de 6, 8, 10, 12 e 14 mm. Após 6 meses de instalação dos ninhos, registrou-se a emergência de 120 ocupantes de três espécies, sendo Centris tarsata (n=107)responsável por 89,2% dos indivíduos. Em relação à razão sexual, verificou-se que esta foi de 1:1 para C. analise para C. tarsata foi re-gistrado 44,9% e 55,1% de fêmeas e machos, respectivamente. Em relação ao comprimento e diâmetro dos ninhos, C. tarsata foi registrada em ninhos de todos os comprimentos, sendo mais frequente naqueles com 18 cm de comprimento e 14 mm de diâmetro. C. analis foi registrada somente em ni-nhos com 14 cm, 18 cm e 22 cm, sendo a única espécie presente nos tubos com 8 mm de diâmetro e nos blocos de 14 cm e de 22 cm. Centris tarsata foi mais generalista em relação à escolha de local para nidifi cação, enquanto. C. analise mostrou-se mais seletiva. |

Sampling was done in three counties in the western region of Santa Catarina: Xanxerê, Chapecó and São Miguel do Oeste, in two seasons (winter and summer). The evaluation of soil/litter fauna in each LUS was performed by installing nine “pitfall traps” per sampling grid (3 x 3). The counties are true replicas. The soil for the chemical attributes was collected at the same sampling points for soil fauna. Altogether, 17 taxa were identified in the five LUS. The presence of groups of fauna was influenced by the type of soil management used. The LUS NF and EP provide better soil conditions for the development of a higher diversity of soil fauna groups compared to other LUS, which showed varying degrees of human intervention, regardless of the sampling season (winter or summer). However, annual crop systems NT and ICL groups showed greater richness and total abundance when compared to the perennial systems (EP and PA). Principal component analysis is an important tool in the study of biological indicators of sustainability because it allows use of soil attributes (chemical and physical) as explanatory environmental variables, which helps in the interpretation of ecological data.
