In this paper a necessary condition for the existance of main effect plus one plan (MEP.1), ins given for the noiseless case. These plans permit estimation of the general mean and all main effects, and to search and estimate one possible non-zero effect among the first and higher order interaction. The new condition is a check to verify whether a given plan is a MEP.1 or not. The condition is also a strong istrument for selecting the treatments to be included in a MEP.1. |
