Abstract: According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, from the year of 1990 to the year of 2018 the average pesticide consumption reached 4.1 Mtonnes in the world, with the following distribution: Asia 52.8%, Americas 30%, Europe 13.8%, Africa 2.1%, and Oceania 1.3% [1]. In order to provide less environmental impact and less pesticide poisoning, the development of green formulations has been an approach to explore the potential of calcium carbonate nanoparticles - from CO2 capture & use - associated to kraft lignin to obtain semiochemical carriers for pest control. |
