It was carrid out a study with field radiometry in order to evaluate agronomic and spectral relationships for 5 varieties of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) collected during the growth cycle. The spectral data was integrated in TM bands transformed in vegetation indices (VI), namely ratio VI (RVI), normalized difference VI (NDVI) transformed VI (TVI), perpendicular VI (PVI), soil adjusted VI (SAVI), transformed soil adjusted VI (TSAVI), and weighted difference VI (WDVI). The agronomic data used in this work were the leaf area index, total wet phytomass, total dry phytomass, wet leaf phytomass and dry leaf phytomass. The indices characterized by a slope, namely RVI, NDVI, TVI, SAVI and TSAVI reached saturation for leaf area index between 3 and 4. TVI and WDVI, both characterized by a distance, did not reach saturation until leaf area index 6 and were the best vegetation indices, showing more sensibility and correlation with the agronomic variables. |
