The city of Corumbá, Brazil has 30 urban farmers. They are responsible for most of the produce available in the local market. But, they have problemswith contaminated irrigation water, inadequate use pesticides and post harvest management. To begin an agroecological transition process, it was used a Rapid Participatory Appraisal, to identify their problems and propose a participatory research program involving the farmers. |
