Forecasting systems enable the anticipation of events, and consequently, the intervention in order to avoid or amplify their effect. Although there are many forecasting methods, most of them use time series to develop and operate the predicting system. The purpose of this work is to develop a method that performs forecasts based on projections of other variables that have a correlation with the observed variable. The proposed methodology was implemented in limnological variables of water quality collected from the Paraguay River and the capacity of the proposed method in prediction processes was proven. |
