The use of spectroscopic techniques provides insights into the chemical composition of HS. Fluorescence spectroscopy, among other advanced spectroscopic techniques, has been used to evaluate the degree of humification of HS2, but at same time this technique can be used to elucidate several aspects of the chemical structure and reactivity of soil organic matter (SOM). In this paper, HAs, fractionated by controlled pore glass (CPG) exclusion chromatography, were characterized by fluorescence. |
