One of the main animal health problems in tropical cattle production, is the Rhipicephalus microplus tick, which causes decreased performance, hide devaluation, and increased costs with treatments and transmission of infectious agents. The aim of this work was to evaluate the utility of cluster cross-validation to determine the accuracy of genomic predictions of Braford (BO) and Hereford (HH) cattle genetic resistance to ticks. |
