The performance of four guava cultivars, viz. Lucknow-49, Allahabad Sufeda, Red Fleshed and Apple Colour was studied at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana during 1978. Lucknow-49 followed by Allahabad Sudeda were obsderved to have the maximum fruit size as compared with other cultivars. The highest TSS/acid ratio was recorded in Allahabad Sufeda, followed by Lucknow-49. The sugar/acid ratio was also higher in both of these cultivars, respectively. Red Fleshed showed the maximum total phenologic content as compared with other guava cultivars. |
